Measuring Yourself for the Perfect Fit!
Bust: Using a tape measure, measure around the fullest part of your bust. The tape should run straight across your bust points, and around your back. Keep your arms at your side, and make sure that the tape is parallel to the floor. See Diagram to the left.
Waist: Standing straight up, measure around the thinnest part of your waistline. Ultimately your waistline is the thinnest measurement around your body: between your belly button, and under your bra cup. This varies on different body types, so you should measure a few times, and ultimately pick the thinnest measurement. See Diagram to the left.
Hips: Standing straight up and with heels together on the floor, measure around the fullest part of your hips. Your hip measurement is ultimately the widest part between your belly button and thighs. This varies on different body types, so you should measure a few times, and ultimately pick the widest measurement. See Diagram to the left. |
